Vodocam - ******* SIM swap - Be Aware

Vodacom allows ******* SIM swaps to be processed where Your information is compromised. Where is the security measures to safe guard your personal information and banking details.

My scenario - ******* swim swap was authorized on my number - only to see the sms to late in the day due to a hectic work schedule. Thus no connection to the network - "Emergency Calls Only" - cell phone went dark on the network.

A R200 MTN voucher was purchased through the cellphone banking channel without my approval or concent - number - ***.

Need to take off the morning from work to visit a Vodacom shop to trace and revert the sim swap. Next stop will be FNB to find out how this transaction could have been done and processed.

How can we trust a service provider like Vodacom to keep our personal details safe, keep the ********* of getting their hands on it.

This is totally unacceptable....
