Vodcom, the communications company that cant communicate

With the onset and boom in Fibre and the amount of competition out there, one would hope that service by Vodacom when securing a new deal, would be good. Well from my experience, it isnt. I was called in Sept 2017 with an offer for Fibre. I confirmed my interest and they came to see me. After the sales lady making all sorts of promises, i subsequently signed up 14 Sept 2017. I was told it would take 21 days. Being a VIP red customer, i believed i would have no problems. I was wrong... after 21 days and nothing happening, i followed up. It turned out they had the wrong telephone number listed, which amazed me as they suprisingly had the right no to make a sales call to me in the first place. So we updated the no. Another 21 days passed, and again i followed up. It then appeared, that they couldnt find my street address....and must have had difficulty finding their phone to, to call me to get the right address. Cool....so another 21 days pass and nothing happens. So write this off to a bad expercience. But wait....last month suddenly i get contacted by Vodacom to sell me Fibre again. The irony is that in their mail, they mention that i have app****, but they trying anyway to sell me a line. After ranting and raving on the poor sales person who was crazy enough to contact me, he offers to get the problem solved. Vumatel speedily contacts me and comes to the RIGHT address, using the RIGHT contact number, which Vodacom supp****, and does a great job. However, Vodacom must now do the final part and bring their router and install it.T They subsequently made an appointment to come install today, 12 April 2018, at 09:00am. I waited patiently and by 09:25 as i was about to leave the Vodacom representative arrived. I asked him why he was late and his reply.....wait for it... He was trying to call me on the no that Vodacom loaded incorrectly in the first place and couldnt reach me and then was trying to find my address and they couldnt find it. So after being frustated, i asked how long it would take and i was told 30 minutes. After an hour i couldnt wait any more and left. I was told that someone would make a new appointment today. Its now 15:50 and nobody has followed up. So this has been my expercience of a supposed "world class telecommunications" company that cant communicate. The irony in that is the best part of this complaint.
