Vodasure Incompetencies

Horrible horrible service. I honestly cannot wait to be done with Vodasure

On the 31st of March 2021, I was at the woodmead vodastore & I requested that they swop my insured number to a number I use often, an email was sent. Then on the 29th of April 2022 I was ******, I managed to block the phone & get an ITC number, I then visited the same Woodmead store on the 30th of April 2022 with the affidavit, when I arrived at the store, I found out that the email was never responded to, but Thabo reassured we would get assistance, he then resent the email and Idani Daphne (Vodasure Supervisor) made a mistake and requested a new policy, she was made aware of the mistake as the email clearly states that I requested a number swop and not a new policy, she noted the mistake and reassured the agent that she would fix it as soon as stock is available at the store. I was using an iphone 12 pro max 512gb, so when stock arrived weeks later, there was no 512gb and I agreed I would downgrade to a 256gb, as long as I had a phone. I went to the store on the 20th May 2022 and upon arrival, I learnt that the number swop was still not fixed, I now had to pay double excess as it appeared like a new insurance policy, I was requested to pay R17,232 which is ridiculous, I told the agent at the store to fix this and Idani requested an affidavit which I didnt have in my possession, so I went to the nearest police station to obtain another one, she then told stories that she can't assist with that one buuuuut my insurance clearly states that the loss of a device must be reported within 30 days, it didn't matter when the affidavit was made, it was less than 30 days but because of her incompetencies, she kept making me go from pillar to post, she doesn't want to take any accountability at all that she is the one who ignored clear instructions from an email sent. It is now almost month since the initial claim and I don't have my phone, nor any feedback. I pay vodacom a lot of money to be taken for a fool, I have now decided that I will involve a lawyer as this is ridiculous. Someone must be held accountable and I should get what is rightfully mine.
