Vodashop (VODACOM) Craighall massive Insurance BLUNDER on Primary Business Device
On the evening of Thursday 30th July my Cell phone was ****** at a restaurant. The next morning I reported the phone ****** and followed all procedures to have the phone blacklisted . Using Vodacom as my preferred supplier for over 25 years, I run all my businesses through Vodacom, including all my staff having Vodacom contracts and our data usage in the office. I have always ensured that MY cell phone is insured as it is my *Primary Business device*. Same number for years. When my upgrade came through towards end of 2017, Vodashop Craighall were clearly instructed, *as always*, to ensure MY new phone was insured. It has become clear that instructions were ignored now when needing to claim. Apparently the insurance is still running off my previous device which my lead technician uses. I am extremely disappointed that even though I followed all correct procedures, pay hundreds of thousands of Rands a year to Vodacom, pay the premiums diligently; I still am now sitting without a phone. Ria at the Craighall Vodashop has attempted to resolve this massive error on Vodashops part, but to no avail. The error is clearly, irrevocably Vodashop’s blunder as we have a clear understanding of my business needs after years of upgrades and new contracts yearly running through this branch. If this is not resolved in a speedy manner I will have no option but to migrate all the lines and packages from Vodacom to one of the various companies that have already contacted me.
