Vodapay vouchers are not accepted by all merchants. First contact the merchant before buying the voucher

I was drawn to the Vodapay app because of the coupon you receive when you spend more than R1500.00 on the app. I received a R150 coupon to use on the app.

I used the coupon to buy a primi voucher. I went into primi at the Port Elizabeth airport and was told that Primi does not accept the vouchers bought on the vodapay app.

I contacted Vodapay and relayed this response.

Feedback: There is nothing that can be done. I must try another Primi. I advised them that there is only one Primi in Port Elizabeth. Where else must I use this voucher. To which I am told again that there is nothing that can be done.

What was the point of advertising the voucher, leading me to buying the voucher, not knowing if the voucher would work or not and after the voucher not working, shrugging their shoulders and saying: "sorry there is nothing that can be done", it almost sounds like better luck next time. Are we playing the lotto here.

I will not be using the app again for payments.
