Vodam *******

Since 1993, when we got our first cellphones, we had problems with Vodacom. We changed the company, and all these years, are happily with them. We had to go away, and bought a mobile data device from Vodacom, thinking to give them a chance. Load it, worked fine. Put in around R 700, used R 200, lost the rest. Fine, it is for 30 days. Need to go away again, after a couple of months. Recharged with around R400, the mobile router does not work. Reset, spent time on the phone, the AI thing tells me that there are enough funds, it will work in one hour. Guess what? did not work. Phone again to "helpful" AI thing, reassurance that will work. 24hours later, still not working. So, sent my husband to Vodacom. He is told that the number has not been used for more than 3 months and has been recycled!!! Say what??? So Vodacom recycles MY money? to whom? I enquired around, and it seems that everyone has this problem. The people in the shop didn't even have the telephone number or the email for customer service. Truly unbelievable experience! Stay away from Vodacom
