Vodafone Blacklisting meaningless and inefficient. 7 weeks after reporting, my new iPhone X is blacklisted and I assume the reported phone must still be active.

My iPhone X was grabbed out of my hand on the night of 28th December 2017. 16 hours later "Find my iPhone" reported it was switched on in Essen Germany. The lost Sim and phone IMEI number was reported to Vodafone on the morning of the 29th December. It, inefficiently, took 4 days to activate the sim on my new phone. I was informed that the old phone was finally blacklisted on Friday the 16th February. On Saturday 17th February my new phone was taken off air as blacklisted which means that the ****** phone is probably still listening to German conversations. It has been a VERY frustrating week in trying to have my phone re-activated. No end in sight yet....

Thanks for your response. Our Corporate Account Manager, Lilly Doran, has been as helpful as possible since Monday morning, with no change in status of my phone. I just received notification that the blacklisting of my new (7 week old) phone has now been reversed and the correct one blacklisted. I have to wait 24 hours for the changes to take effect. Will revert if I wake up phoneless tomorrow morning.
