Vodadom non-client service, why should I then call
I sent an email cancellation request to Vodacom 31/10/2017 ********** after phoning and holding on for 10 minutes to no one answering. I called thereafter with the same, just holding on to no one answering. The contract was to be cancelled 31/12/2017 then go to pay-as-you-go. This was a clear instruction in plain English. In Jan a debit order went off and again in Feb 2018. I phoned them in Jan and Feb again about this issue, forwarded them the email again 15 March 2018 after calling them again 1 March. Now I am told by cancellations that the file is with the legal department. When I speak to their legal department about the refund they tell me I need to speak to Cancellations as they then incorrectly cancelled the now month-to-month contract only 1 March 2018 and they need to process a refund for incorrect cancellation. After on a call for 15 minutes the Cancellations puts me through to their Legal department again. I am then told by Vodacom Legal that I will be blacklisted. I am then told by Vodacom Cancellations that I should've initially called to cancel the contract and not sent the e-mail. This is ridiculous. I requested to speak to someone in management to which my telephonic request was ignored. Can someone help me resolve this, and not respond on this and say that the issue is resolved. Vodacom should be removed as a network in South Africa. Go Cell C!!!
