Voda****

In 2017 when one of my contracts ended, I chose not to renew it. I went to the store and migrated one number to a family member who has been paying for that contract, and I made sure the other was not continued, as I was leaving the country.

On Monday I went to Vodacom store to go see if the number that was not active is still usable, and they tell me that my account is in arrears, and my ID number blocked so which means I can't get a new contract, and now my credit rating is affected. Since Tuesday (26th February), I have been sent from pillar to post as no one know why I owe this amount to Vodacom. Today alone, I have called 10 different numbers in an hour trying to find out (and being hung up on multiple times!!!FANTASTIC SERVICE). On Tuesday I was told that I took out a new contract last year. Now I am being told my account was handed over to MBD. MBD has no record of this, and miraculously, there is no paper trail of why I "owe" this money, and even if I was to pay it, both MBD and Vodacom claim that it is with the other department......***!!!!!!!

I am seeking legal advice now as it has come to that.
