VodaCON **** with Honky Dory

For almost 20 years I've been on contract with them until recently. Recharged with R100 airtime on the 9th of January. Upon checking my "My Vodacom" app on the 17th of Jan, I saw I only had R10 airtime left without having made any phone calls. Every day from the 9th Jan, R10 got deducted until I was left with R10 airtime on the 17th Jan. I then chose to chat to their chatbot Tobi, Tobi informed me that I was subscribed to a WASP service with Honky Dory which I never signed up for and never had issues with when on contract. But when I then asked Tobi to check what subscriptions he was referring to, he tells me that there are NO SUBSCRIPTIONS on my account. So tell me vodaCON, how do you first tell me that my money is vanishing to a subscription which you then claim I don't have. The fact that Tobi says I don't have any also meant that I couldn't unsubscribe myself as the subscription didn't exist. So I called vodacom and the lady tells me that I'm subscribed to honky dory and she can't give me anymore info on this. She was the only one who could magically unsubscribe me from something vodacon tothemselves told me I'm not even subscribed to when I check it myself via chatbot so how does this work? The lady on the phone then proceeded to unsubscribe me and I get an sms to say I'm no longer subscribed to Honky Dory. I see complaints about honky dory dating back almost a year and vodaCON can't tell us anything about this phantom service taking our money? or is it that vodaCON is taking it themselves and therefore has NO information nor any power to stop these types of ******** taking our airtime? How come this never happened on my contract? and how am I supposed to feel comfortable putting airtime on my phone in order to pay for my monthly data if this is a possibility? I'm utterly disgusted and demand a refund unless you can prove that I subscribed to this service to begin with as well as explain why there was no subscription on my account while I was being deducted. I want to hear from vodacon how these subscriptions get away with it if they are aware that people are being ****med. Why aren't you protecting your customers?? Don't you make enough money off us? Here I am being loyal for almost 2 decades to a company that clearly doesn't give a flying F*** about its customers. Think it's time for me to move providers, all I've done is give and all vodacon does is take.
