VodaCON NOT 4 U
Be very careful of Vodacon they are not FOR U, they are 4 themselves and how much of your money they can take. Be extra careful of people phoning you from the supposed "REWARDS" department. These people will tell you anything to get you to buy a contract but once you sign up they want nothing to do with you. In Oct 2019 they sold me a data contract which they confirmed I could port to my current number without an issue. Well they ****. I have been trying to resolve this issue for over 24 months with no success. I have never used one byte of the data and no matter what I do, they just keep charging. I have called and escalated the problem, been told that someone will get back to me in 5 to 7 days but they don't. When I remember, I call again and so it goes on. Called yesterday and was told that it was too late, the people had gone home and I should call back today. Apparently they only work until 5pm although I had been told by a Vodacom Customer care agent that they work until 6pm. Called the call centre again today and surprise surprise I got cut off shortly after speaking with an agent. Despite the fact that they can call you back, especially if the line drops, they didn't call. I phoned again and was told that they are so sorry but their system is offline and they can't assist. I must call them back later or tomorrow!! I can now cancel the line but guess what, calling cancellations results in the same problem. I am so sick of Vodacon. All I can say is I will persevere until I have cancelled this contract and received a refund then I will cancel all my other lines with Vodacon and port my family's numbers to another service provider.

14 Dec 2021, 15:19I cancelled it on the 13th because I was told that it was the best thing to do. I have been trying to cancel it since inception in 2019 because the person who sold the contract to me made me believe that I would be able to transfer the contract onto my existing Vodacon number ***. This was not the case and I have repeatedly attempted to have it cancelled and my money refunded TO NO AVAIL. As with all my previous correspondence it is ALWAYS the customer's problem. I have no idea who Elite Mobile is but I was told that they are an agent of Vodacon and that they sold me the contract. Despite calling them and trying to resolve it I get nowhere. They don't phone back and when I do call I get transferred from pillar to post. Even internally in Vodacon I get told that I need to speak to the Rewards Team because they sold it to me, then I get transferred to them and either get cut off because their system is so unstable or get someone telling me that I need to speak to someone at Elite Mobile or at Vodacon Billing. I have a business to run and the cellphone is my daughter's so I don't have access to your Vodacon Customer Care 24/7 unless I call from my own mobile which thank the Lord is NOT WITH VODACON but it costs me a fortune and nobody at VODACON seems to have the power to do anything but pass me from pillar to post!!!
