Vodacon endorses ******* and *****elent activities on customer accounts

I have had 3 new contracts and cellphone purchases added to my Vodacom account without my knowledge or authorisation. This could only have been done with the assistance of Vodacom internally.

I reported this to the ***** department who have advised me that they will respond within 30 days. Subsequent to my reporting of this ******* activity, I have had numerous sms and email messages where this ******* activity continues.

Today Vodacom debited my account with some admin fees relating to the actiivation of the ******* connection and purchases.

The managing of this ******* activity and *****ulent activities on my account is not a priority for Vodacom.

To allow this activity to continue unabated by Vodacom is unacceptable.

Thank you for doing nothing. I initially received a call from a Vodacom representative who was more interested in telling me how great Vodacom was rather than informing me what Vodacom was doing about my complaint.

The ***** continues on my account with Vodacom’s permission. The debit order on my account was deactivated to protect against unauthorised charges from my bank account. I made the payment via EFT as agreed with Vodacom, yet somehow, this was reactivated, and a debit order was also charged to my bank account. Vodacom is unable to explain how this is possible. The cell numbers that have been *****ulently added to my account continue incurring massive costs. It has been two months since I lodged the information with Vodacom's ***** and disputes department, with no reply. I am forced to pay for these extra accounts to avoid suspending my account. Vodacom has failed to take the most basic actions to protect me as a customer.

My statement address, email address and primary contact number were changed without my permission. I advised Vodacom of this, yet it remains unchanged. It is impossible to get hold of Vodacom customer care other than through the 082 135, which was suspended from my account. Again, no explanation was provided, and I was forced to contact Vodacom through a separate cell phone.

It has been a backward and forward with customer care, who have been unable to make contact within their own departments to resolve this matter.

I suspect that my only solution would be to port my cell numbers to another carrier.
