VodaCon

On the 11th of May I processed an upgrade online, the order was confirmed. I followed-up with your call centre weekly on the non-delivery of the handset; to be told it was on back-order and to be patient.

On the 11th of June , I was informed that the model ordered (A5 2015) has been discontinued and thus the order has been terminated.

HAD I NOT INITIATED THE CONTACT, I WOULD BE NONE THE WISER THAT THIS ORDER WAS NEVER GOING TO BE PROCESSED, EVER !

I spoke to several call centre agents and a supervisor, WHO PROMISED THAT THIS WOULD BE INVESTIGATED WITH DELAY AND THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED.

I never was.

Calling again, I was told to send the query to their vadmin e-mail, several were sent without reply.

On the 22nd of June I began speaking with Supervisor Scott. Who was initialy helpful; but then began ducking my calls. Being fairly persistant I called 4 times daily, every day for a week. The excuses made by the call centre agents were laughable.

7 weeks after begining the process, the issue is obviously not resolved.

The service level of Vodacom is simply abysmal, it is actually non-existant. I've obviously moved to a different Network a pity after 20 years of being a customer.

So Long, VodaCon !
