Vodacom/Vuma fibre installation

I have been struggling to get my line transferred to my new residence for over two weeks. The Vuma technician was at my premises 04 November 2024, and informed me that the line was still occupied by Afrihost, and the previous owners of the property need to cancel. I spoke to the previous owner who confirmed the cancellation, and subsequently I received confirmation from Afrihost that indeed the line has been cancelled. I informed Vodacom accordingly and received a reference number, SR*** on or about 05 November 2024. I was assured that it would be resolved within 48 hours. I called to follow-up on a number of occasions and all I was told is that it's being escalated. Vuma keeps referring me back to Vodacom. I eventually decided to cancel the transaction on 08 November 2024, and spoke to a retentions consultant who assured me he was going to follow-up and give me a call by close of business that day. An entire week later, and I still have not heard from him. This Wednesday, 13 November 2024 I received an SMS saying my service request has been closed and I will be contacted by Vuma for an activation/installation. To date I have not received a call and when I enquired with Vodacom all they could tell me is that the request is closed, and they cannot load a comment saying I have not yet been contacted. Again, I was informed that it was escalated. There was a sales consultant, Sumaya who called me on a regular basis before we moved and given the service I got from her we opted to stay with Vodacom instead of changing to another SP, but this would seem to have been our biggest mistake. The last time I heard from Sumaya was 01 November 2024 when she assured me Vuma will be in touch. After the sale was concluded she's been quiet as well. So in essence I've now committed so there is no longer a need for me to receive any sort of service. I explicitly informed Vodacom that I require this service for work, and have now had to incur additional expenses, because Vodacom simply refuses to honor the commitments they made prior to me signing up. All I want is for my line to be activated, or for Vodacom to release me from the obligations that they have not honored. I have been told I need to give a calendar months' notice for cancellation, yet I don't have the services. I have no doubt that at the end of the month I will be required to pay in full for a service I have quite literally been begging for.

As I submitted the above I received a call from Vodacom, and again I had to explain my entire story. I asked the individual who called what the solution is, and suddenly her "signal got bad"... I'll probably never hear from her again.
She actually swore on the line I clearly heard her saying "**** man".
Vodacom please release me from this obligation so that i can move over to a more competent ISP.
