<p>I'll keep this short and sweet.<br /> </p> <p>My Vodacom experience.<br /> So after a total of 4 ********** sim swaps (and numerous other attempts) on my number (never mind changing my personal information numerous times and placing RED FLAGS all over my account), having my number blocked without any notification, countless hours on the line with customer care, countless visits to Vodacom outlets, being billed ridiculous amounts like R 27328, R 4196 and R 6282 (I seldom... use more than R 1000) and SO MUCH FRUSTRATION FROM NOT BEING ABLE TO USE MY PHONE FOR MONTHS, I finally managed to cancel my Vodacom contract that I had had for probably 10 years. Vodacom is utterly useless and cannot keep their customers information secure! Told Vodacom that I wouldn’t pay a cent because of early cancellation. They agreed on the contract cost, but I am now forced to pay for the handset. Fair? I think not! I contested this and was promised a call by one of the Vodacom seniors…still waiting for that call… Once helpful staff at Vodacom in Midrand are now simply ignoring my emails. And now I might get stuck with a bad credit rating for not paying up, after all of this frustration, after all of Vodacom's incompetence…?
