Vodacom's unexplained and exhorbitant out-of-bundle data charges

In May 2017, I received a statement on my Vodacom account with R2970 out-of-bundle charge for my 20G+20G Wi-Fi router package. I followed this up with Vodacom's call centre (082111) wherein I requested an itemized billing for the period. After numerous follow up calls without receipt of the requested itemized billing, I was told in July (around week 2) by one of the call centre agents that my account have been credited with R2031 as a "gesture of goodwill". The agent told me that the R900+ is therefore still outstanding. I advised the agent that I still need to understand the basis of such a high out-of-bundle charge and insisted on the itemized billing before I could decide whether or not to pay the left amount. After numerous calls and 4 service requests later, on the 22 August one call centre agent sent me the itemized billing. I was shocked to see usage of approximately 29,3G over a period of only 6 days (20 May to 25 May). On this itemized billing there was a usage of 12,G, usage of 7,6G and multiple usages of over 2G - which when added made up over 29G. I requested explanation and detail of how I used such an enormous amount of data - a new request was logged for this explanation. On the 24th of August, my account (with multiple contracts/packages) with Vodacom was soft locked for all outgoing activity (calls & messaging) and any 4G/LTE connectivity. On noticing this in the afternoon of the 24th August, I called their call centre again to query the soft-locking of the account - as the cause for non-payment is because of disputed out-of-bundle data usage. I have been on the phone with Vodacom ever since then and Vodacom has not been responsive in resolving the data issue nor unlocking my account.
