Vodacom's service worse Every month!!!
If I could give NO stars I would. For the past year I have been struggling with Vodacom. If I am not being over charged for handsets that are supposed to be paid off I am being overcharged for once off charges. I am a pensioner and EVERY month my Invoice amount differs. I have to phone and try to resolve an issue I have with Vodacom. At one point my daughter had to explain the SAME problem to FOUR different consultants! But they expect you to RATE their level of customer service but my daughter is the one that has to DO the customer service and she has to follow up with Vodacom.
The previous issue February 2021 was requested that the money gets paid into my bank account. But they credited my Vodacom Invoice without them confirming with me and AFTER my daughter specifically instructed them to pay it into the account. March 2021 my daughter then complained about ANOTHER issue with Vodacom's billing where they almost charged me DOUBLE my original invoice amount. She then told ALL the operators that if the money was not paid into my account on the 1st of April 2021 due to debit orders going off and I then have to pay R90 honorary fees per debit order due to insufficient funds ALL the operators said that it's not a problem.
The money was then refunded well after the 1st of April and 3 of my debit orders went off and I was charged R90 honorary fee PER debit order that went off which adds up to R270. My daughter AGAIN followed up regarding the bank charges and she was given instructions to send an email with the bank statement etc. Which she did. She then waited 2 weeks or so and she AGAIN had to phone Vodacom and do a follow up where she was told that the request was declined. The consultant then gave her the normal run around and promises to phone back etc but yet again my daughter had to follow up where she had to explain the situation to yet ANOTHER consultant who then asked her to re-send the email and to wait yet ANOTHER 7 - 14 days for a reply.
As I said I am a pensioner but when it's time for debit orders to go off I can't do anything until Vodacom debits my account to see if any issues need to be resolved before I can do anything. My personal opinion if my contracts at Vodacom expire I will be going over to another Network provider that will be able to do their invoices and billing properly because the way I see it Vodacom fails in every sense and the customer service is non existent!
