Vodacom's Right to not recredit airtime after an Account was Blocked
In December 2017 my business Account went into arrears due to a debit order not running, my phone account was suspended and did not use the mobile number in December 2017 as I was on holiday, at the time there was R1200.00 top up airtime on the phone.
In January when starting up my mobile device I noted that the account was in blocked and promptly did the payment of R5900 odd rand, when I checked the airtime I saw that the airtime was not fully re-credited to my account. Upon inquiry I was promptly told that you forfeit the Amount of Airtime on the mobile at the time it was sent for Top up Collections. After further inquiry on the account and why the airtime will not be re-credited a whole 25 days has gone past and now again the vodacom account department call center agent after having the audacity to tell me I should have planned better for my monthly account debits to run, I yet again get told that once your Account has gone for Top up Collection you will forfeit all existing airtime on the mobile device.
I asked the dealership and the call centre agent to proof to me on the agreement where I was made aware of this and when did this new rule or whatever they call this nonsense come into effect and where Vodacom Customer was informed of this.
I will be moving my contract to another supplier. if this is the thanks for being a Vodacom customer for over 6 years is like, I dont want to know what it would have like when I am a newly signed on customer
