Vodacom's poor service and incompetence

Firstly, i would like to strongly convey my disgust and disappointment in Vodacom service over the last month. I have been extremely patient, however i cannot fathom how and why it would take just over a month (without any communication) to fix my phone.

I first handed in my phone before the month of Ramadan. I had to go through the entire month without having a phone to communicate with my family and colleagues!. As the Vodacom shop in Claremont in the Montclare staff would reaffirm i was in-store at least five times a week, requesting progress on my phone. On the third week, Vodacom returned my phone only for the same problem to still exist. Thereafter, i returned my phone to Vodacom and this time there was an utter lack of communication and motivation to fix the problem. Staff showed absolute disregard with the seriousness of my problem and behaved in a nonchalant manner .Today when i visited the Claremont store it was confirmed by staff that the staff member assisting me was reminded to check on the status of the phone before she went on leave and before COB yesterday as i was meant to leave this morning for KZN .However, this reminder was not taken seriously as she walked out immediately after being reminded !.Furthermore, Vodacom's technical team at the hub in Maitland, was at the core of the problem due to lack of urgency and failure to resolve the problem with my phone. On several occasions, i was given ludicrous excuses such as the technician is not in yet (at 11:00 in the day), the technician is off and once, the technician is on lunch.

This has costed me more money by having to spend money on petrol to travel to the store everyday and to change my flight TWICE!.For all the reasons mentioned above, i can assure you that i will not be holding back on broadcasting the absolute incompetence and disgusting service at Vodacom .Further action will be taken!.

I would suggest anyone thinking of taking out a contract with Vodacom to simply just not!.
