Vodacoms pathetic service
On the 31st of December 2014 I received my Sony Xperia Z3 that I took on contract through Vodacom.
The next day (01/01/2015) I decided to take some under water pics and videos. I viewed the videos and pics with no issue then put my phone away - when I checked again the phone wouldn't switch on.
The next day (02/01/2015) I returned the phone to the Vodacom Customer Care Centre in Gateway. To my understanding I should have received a new phone straight away since I returned the phone within 5 days but that didn't happen. My phone has been assessed and the result was water damage (even though it's advertised as a waterproof phone). Surely this can't be right - also they are claiming negligence on my part where as I have stressed that I followed the usage parameters. I have been back and forth with Vodacom and Sony Mobile trying to sort this out. Vodacom seems to take the word of Sony over the word of its so called \valued customers". It's been over a month now and this issue is still yet to be resolved. This is pathetic service from Vodacom and Sony Mobile."""
