Vodacom's Negligence

Good day,

I had signed up for a fibre connection in August 2020 and had opted for the debit order payment method for convenience reasons. My fibre line was installed in September 2020. On Tuesday, January 5th 2020, I had no connectivity. Upon calling customer care, I was informed that my line has been suspended due to being in arrears for three months. I queried as to the possibility of this and was informed that the first two debit order attempts had bounced as there was no funds in my account. Being baffled about this, I called my private banker to query this. She informed me that Vodacom had never debited my account and sent me an email confirmation. I contacted Vodacom and queried further, only to find out that they have account details of another bank. I have requested further feedback as to whose account details were used and how did they obtain these details. It's been two days since I am still awaiting this feedback after they've escalated to management. I am working from home and now am left without an internet connection due to Vodacom's negligence.

Good day,

Your feedback above is what I already know. I've posed a few questions to your consultants and in my initial post here, which are being overlooked.

Could you please advise as to where did you get the banking details you have been debiting and also, why wasn't I informed any sooner that you were not receiving payment??
