Vodacom's ***** Is Decimating My Credit Profile
In August, I was the victim of Vodacom's incompetence after a *****ulent contract was taken in my name. The account in question added a line to an existing number I had and spent over R3000. After contacting Vodacom's ***** department, ***** was confirmed and I later received comms to this effect.
Despite this, Vodacom has STILL been trying to debit me for the amount that this *****ster accumulated on my account. This is the comms I received from your ***** Department on 14 October:
Good day
Please be advised that upgrade ***** on Vodacom account I*** ID was confirmed on, reference. We have reversed the upgrade, deleted add-on line and account has been rectified and will be credited accordingly, and you will receive your refund within 7 to 10 working day
Account flagged for ITC and communication sent to Credit Bureau to update payment profile.
Today, I received a message from Experian that my credit score has gone down because Vodacom has flagged my account for non-payment? Please, with the greatest amount of respect, don't mess me about.
I had been paying my contract faithfully for three years before you allowed a *****ster to compromise it. I have taken an incredible amount of time to try and have this resolved. I need this listing cleared from my credit profile immediately.
