Vodacom's incompetency lets me down after many years of being a customer!
I terminated two cellular contracts with Vodacom and requested them to convert the cell no's to pay-as-you-go with effect 01/04/2022. Vodacom has now deleted the two cellular numbers to the extend of "this numbers does not exist"! Andrew from the Vodacom Agency in Springbok (N/C) has tried his utmost best in the past 24 hours to get Vodacom Customer Care to rectify the matter but to no avail.

12 Apr 2022, 15:40Since Vodacom's random replies on 03/04/2022 and 04/04/2022 one of the disputed phone numbers was restarted/re-instated by Kurt of the Vodacom Cellular Store in the Tygervalley Shopping Centre, Bellville, Cape Town. My sincere compliments and thanks to Kurt.
Unfortunately he was not able to reload a sim with the second number - that I have had for 23yrs. Andrew from the Vodacom Agency in Springbok, Northern Cape has also tried his best to solve my problem and even engaged his Area Manager but also with zero results...
Amanda from Head Quarters took the case and has since been holding my hand by means of encouraging phone calls. She also tried to reload my number but to no avail. My sincere thanks to Amanda but it seems as if she has run out of options and I fearfully wonder whether she will be able to escalate the query to a higher level!?
I am still stuck with my Vodacom Nightmare and other than the abovementioned individuals, NO ONE from Customer Care/Public Relations/Complaints/Management has reached out. I am so disappointed after having been a loyal and paid-up (Business) Customer for almost 20 years. We have paid many thousands into Vodacom's koffers but when we finally opt out due to better cellular service and packages from Telkom, I was left with nothing but this mess! And it seems that in this era of super IT-skills on hand everywhere, NO ONE AT VODACOM has the skill/knowledge/will to solve this problem!
Can SOMEBODY out there, please advise me on what to do next!??
