Vodacom's Incompetence

Upgraded my phone and added a Samsung watch LTE with E-sim. Struggled from day 1 to get the phone and watch set up with the E-sim. 6 visits and numerous tickets logged with Vodacom - No E-sim connected. Various contradictory instructions and explanations and closing of tickets without it even being addressed and various phone calls waiting waiting waiting forever - Nothing. It seems Vodacom SA does not yet have the expertise in dealing with first world tech as they simply cannot sort this out. This has taken me a month now! Now Vodacom tech at head office says the watch is faulty and I must go and exchange and swap the watch at the store where upgraded. The store says no I cannot do that, it must be fixed, waiting time 4 weeks. DO NOT BUY YOUR WATCH AT VODACOM - They just cannot get it to work. 100% Incompetence

Typical Automated response.

Have had so many of these. NO consultant will make contact!

Just waiting for my Consumer Commission ID to be registered to lodge my complain there. Hopefully THEY can get you to some action.

Typical Vodacom.

They leave you in the middle without the matter been resolved, disappear, and regard the matter as settled.
Their own internal communications are misaligned and contradictory and leaving the consumer in the middle with no resolve.

They say I must go and exchange the product, the store say no!

see below:

"In order for the store to assist we will need to book in the device so that the device can be assessed by a technician.
We are more than willing to assist with booking the device for the assessment.
Please note that in order to book in the device we will need the box and everything which came inside the box
Should you feel that you would like to escalate the matter further you can kindly send an email to *** and this mail goes to all the senior management within the company

Thanking you in advance"

The store don't even believe their own head office tech dept.

There is no industry on this planet with a worst service record than Vodacom.

A month later.... no resolve...

Im gobsmacked by this low level of care from a company.
