Vodacom"s Hand in my bank account like they are the ANC and I am an SOE.

I have been a Vodacom subscriber since 1996/7 with average spend of over R1500 pm. I have over the last 4 years tried to cancel my subscription to go on pre-paid only to be shoved around by retentions 2 years ago putting me on their lowest package flexi55 instead of pure pre-paid. when I Queried, i was told that I would need to sit the contract period out for another 2 years. This year i received communication that I was due for an upgrade in Feb 2019. I called in to cancel and after much boxing with Retentions, a quote was generated including a premature cancelation penalty. I settled it immediately and sent them the cancellation documentation and proof of payment and received a read receipt confirming that they received my documentation. Guess what they put through a charge this month again. I called retentions and they kept shoving me around putting me on hold and cutting the calls. I tried to speak to the supervisor and she was "not" there, was on a call, will call back. None of this happened. All I want is to be on prepaid without vodacom"s hand in my bank account as the debit orders are also not for the same amount every month as when my minutes are depleted they just go ahead and issue more and I have no control. My number generated 2 invoice this month with address in George and Ruimsig when they have my address as Johannesburg for the last 23 years. This is how Vodacom treats customers of this standing with a average total spend of over R360 000 over the period.
