Vodacom's failure rectify identity ***** and incorrectly tarnishes credit profiles

Vodacom is really terrible at commitment, I was a victim of identity ***** with Vodacom and they didn't even know about it, I initiated a contract with them in 2009 and naturally a contract lasts for approximately 2 or 3 years thereafter it becomes a month to month commitment or cancelled if you submit or request for it, I cancelled my contract many years ago and Vodacom authorizes and upgrade in 2024 on the same account that they failed to close. I had not received a single call or verification request but they were quick to tell me about a bill that I didn't even initiate. I had to endure the agonizing process of making a case and submitting documents and eventually they confirmed it to be ***** and shared a letter of confirmation admitting it was a case of identity *****. I was assured all is in order and account closed by Thandeka Mkhwatsha and Thabo Ramohapi from Vodacom ***** disputes. BTW Vodacom says they don't have a direct number for customers to contact for ***** disputes you have to rely on mails that never get rep**** to. to my surprise 4 months later I receive communication from HP attorneys that my account is in arrears due to non payment of the account, so naturally this tells me the ***** dispute again hasn't been closed as promised by Thabo and Thandeka. My credit score is being negatively affected by the negligence from such a huge company and remain at risk of recurring identity ***** because a large telecoms entity has people that just don't worry about how their negligence affects customers in public. BE careful with Vodacom quick to bind ppl in contracts but not to clean up the mess after.
