Vodacom’s ***** behavior
I am a vodacom customer. I purchased R12 airtime to buy vodacom minutes, when I wanted to buy the minutes it said I did not have sufficient funds I then went to check and I had R10,25. I called vodacom to ask what happened to my funds I was told that some applicantions in my phone reserved the funds, I must switch off my data and my phone for a couple of minutes and I’ll get my money back mind you I am connected to wifi. I switched my phone off and on as instructed but still no funds. I called again this time I was told I sent an international sms which costs R1,75 and I didn’t send an sms. I was told two different stories by two different people. I told the consultant that I didn’t send an sms and I asked for an escalation, the team leader Ishmael Ncube said they cannot refund me because the system says I sent an sms and the system is right I am the one lying. My airtime has been disappearing like this for a while now and I never thought Of calling vodacom but what disgusted me was being told that I am lying about R1,75. Like I have so much free time on my hands to just call vodacom and lie about my money being taken without my knowledge. I do not appreciate how they treated me, it might be R1,75 but it’s my money, I worked for it and when I say I don’t know what happened to my money,I really don’t know what happened to my money. Vodacom is starting to be ***** now ... customers must beware of such behaviors, vodacom taking small amounts of money little by little to make profits that they don’t deserve mxm
