Vodacom's Daylight Data *******

I have been experiencing a much higher data depletion rate than normal in the last month. Having been historically able to preserve my monthly daytime data since the inception of my contract with Vodacom, it just comes as a shock how I now find myself having to recharge almost 4 times post data depletion within a single month- this became more prevalent from May even though I have stopped streaming and have also minimized my social media activity. I started working from home in March, and my data levels were still normal in March and April. I do not understand how 20GB disappears in a space of 2 days. It is sad that in this economic climate, I have had to find myself buying more data (20GB is R699) that disappears without reason. Please Vodacom, do better!!!

Hi Vodacom

My query was actually not resolved, instead I received no helpful information or anything of value that would assist me as your customer. I think the response I would have preferred would be for you to let me know what I could do differently going forward to ensure that my data usage is more efficient. Instead, I was told that Vodacom is the data provider and I am the user, so basically "it is what it is" and I am on my own.

Thanks a lot
