E. On 17 November 2019 at 6:20 pm after one of my many discussions with a customer care agent from Vodacom, I asked her (Wilhelmina) for confirmation of our discussion as the previous confirmation we received didn’t deliver any results, and she sent me an email from *** with Authentication Response ***. The email stated the following: “We acknowledge the receipt of your email. Kindly be advised, we have received the documents and have attach it to the existing service request which was escalated to Accounts Department for further assistance with reference number: ***
Regards, Wilhelmina
Customer Care eService Team”
The previous email I refer to was received from Ms Raquel Boyd via *** on 7 November 2019 at 08:05 am (Authentication Response ***) and read as follows:
“Good Day Mr Botha We acknowledge the receipt of your email. As per our telephonic conversation on the number *** and I completed the authentication process. A service request has been logged with regards to the payments made into the I***2 into your Vodacom account I***-4. Your reference number is *** and feedback will be provided to you within 48-72 working hours. A statement has been forwarded to *** for your perusal. Upon resolution you will be advised. I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience that you may have experienced. This is certainly not in line with Vodacom’s aim in achieving service excellence. Vodacom values you and always aim to provide you with the best quality network, products and services.

F. Yesterday, 21 November 2019, I once again spoke to one of your customer care agents after my service was suspended and then unlocked again, and he promised to have an agent of Vodacom phone me today at 14H00 to discuss the situation. Nobody called at 14H00. I work as a freelance photographer, and whilst working at a year end function tonight someone phoned me.
Vodacom, there is no words to describe the disruption you have caused in my life due to your complete and utter incompetence. You do not begin to understand the word ‘customer’. You should change your email so-called customer care email address to “wedontgivea#&%[email protected]” because you clearly understand that a lot better than actual customer service!
My account is paid!!!!!!! I have sent 23 emails in total in less than 3 months with PROOF THAT MY ACCOUNT IS PAID!!!!!!! Do you guys have the capability to please open and actually READ and APPLY YOUR MIND? Or do you prefer smoke signals?
I am really at a loss for words
Your promise above was a LIE!!! You have failed to contact me once again. I will not stop. I will continue and post a complaint every single day until this is sorted out. I will not go away
