Vodacom's Botched Updgrade and Excuses

Upgrade done on Monday 21/12 for iPhone 12 White. Got a call back from Christalsha saying no white in stock. I opted for black . "A note" was put on the system and was promised the phone by end of the week which was the 24/12. Called Vodacom 24/12 and luckily got through to the person who did the upgrade. They apologized as usual, which didn't help as the black was now out of stock as well given that a few days had passed. A new phone was ordered and I was given a new order number and tracking number K*** for delivery 28/12/2020 as they were fast tracking this botched order and promised delivery. Listen to the call. Called Vodacom on the 28/12/2020 and was told to track my own order. Called Ram and they had no such waybill for delivery for the 28/12/2020. Called Vodacom back. Spoke to Jesanne who then escalated for a call back. No call back received. Called Vodacom again. More "notes". Could not put me through to a Manager but could indicate that Christalsha who initially *****ed up the contract then fixed it was on leave. No wonder she could lie about delivery on the 28th. She knew she would not be available to come down on. Called back again spoke to Lungile Ngcobo who informed me that her Manager Samier Chetty would be calling me back in 45 minutes. I made my own "notes" albeit on paper. The promise was made at 10.17am 28/12 so would be expecting the call by 11am latest. Here are my problems: 1. Consultants working from home do not work! 2. Managers cannot be reached or hide behind consultants who have limited decision making skills or problem solving skills for that matter. Your whole job cannot compromise of being excellent at apologies. 3. Amazing how long it takes to solve the ***** ups but if my contract isn't paid on time, I would be cut off in less time than it takes me to blink!! 4. The gravity of the situation is not realized by each new consultant after having to call back several times. 5. Consultants hide behind the phone line, Managers and decision makes hide behind consultants and nobody makes things happen.

Your employees have become so good at apologizing which leaves me to thinking that the service has gone down so much since 1999 when I first got this contract that this is what they do everyday, all day long. STOP APOLOGIZING, RATHER GET IT RIGHT!! THEN YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO APOLOGIZE FOR A LIVING.

Can somebody get my phone delivered instead of apologizing and lying about call backs so you wont have to listen to my insults for the next 2 years? And if anybody is interested in solving my problem or calling me back my account number is I***. Surely you will be able to find my phone number or maybe that's asking too much because the new favorite excuse while we wait on the line "I do APOLOGIZE, my system is slow"

Really? I was promised by Lungile Ngcobo as stated above within 45 minutes from Samier Chetty. Its 12.56pm and no call received. So what makes you think that your call back or delivery of my upgrade will happen TODAY?!

I have still not received any feedback. Called the call center a number of times, where I was simply told that my upgrade will NOT be delivered today by a consultant in upgrades called Joseph. I then asked him for a number to call and he gave me the HO number which was incorrect and does not exist. Where is my call back?????????

Still no call back but have been informed that I will only get my delivery 29/12 after my 32 calls to your call center. The person who did the upgrade is an *********** **** who probably just messed up the whole upgrade to continue watching their series while "working from home" the new buzz phrase when in fact its no excuse for your sloppy service delivery!!!!!!! Like I said to your CEO in my email today: "Why have you employed the worst lot with the least brains to handle calls for the "best" network? " I hope he replies, or maybe he is "working from home"?
