"Vodacom's Abysmal Service: A Masterclass in Incompetence"

"Re: Unresolved Fiber Line Repair Issue (Reference Number: SR***)

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the subpar service I have received from Vodacom regarding the repair of my fiber line, which was severed during road construction on October 21, 2024. Despite initially prompt attention, subsequent follow-ups have been marred by unfulfilled promises, lack of communication, and inexcusable delays.

The initial temporary repair was completed within 24-48 hours, but the permanent solution, promised within two weeks, has yet to materialize. Following the line's second severance on November 16, 2024, I logged a call with Vodacom and received assurances of resolution within 24-48 hours. However, repeated follow-ups with consultants Byron (Reference Number: SR***) and Junaid yielded no tangible progress.

My frustration escalated upon being transferred to multiple representatives, including Imyaam, who promised a technician would visit on November 21, 2024, at 15:00. Regrettably, this commitment was also unmet.

I have endured unacceptable delays, broken promises, and a glaring lack of accountability from Vodacom. As a valued customer, I expect prompt resolution and reliable communication. I request immediate attention to this matter and a comprehensive explanation for the inexcusable service failures.

Sincerely, Thuthuka Ntombela

It's now been over a week since reporting this matter and still there's been zero resolution. I'm the one who is repeatedly calling to check on updates and all I keep hearing is the case has been escalated. This is appalling service from such an organization.

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the ongoing delays in resolving the issue with my serviced line. Despite numerous calls to the Vodacom contact center over the past two weeks, I have been met with a lack of progress and a consistent passing of the buck.

The persistent lack of a concrete solution or interim measures to ensure my connectivity is unacceptable. I find it particularly concerning that Vodacom is unwilling to cancel my contract, yet is not providing any alternative solutions to mitigate the inconvenience caused.

Furthermore, the repeated attribution of the delay to Nokia, a third-party contractor, raises questions about Vodacom's accountability and project management. As a paying customer, I expect a higher level of service and transparency.

I urgently require a comprehensive solution, detailing the root cause of the delay, a revised timeline for resolution, and concrete interim measures to ensure my connectivity. I expect a prompt response regarding the actions Vodacom will take to rectify this situation.
