Vodacom/HP Attorneys

Worst experience ever owing Vodacom and their collections department. I paid them in full some time in July and they are still sending me demands. They handed over my account to Hammond Pole Attorneys to collect their money from me, and this firm offered me 15% to settle the account. I took the offer and paid in full. Vodacom is now demanding that I pay the discounted amount that I was offered by Hammond Pole Attorneys, the law firm that they handed my account to, and gave them powers to offer us these kinds of deals. One of the two, or both, is failing to do what they are supposed to, to send me a settlement letter. Now my credit score is being impacted negatively because of them. And I cannot afford to be seen as someone who struggles with paying their dues given my kind of profession. I spoke to both of these companies about it several times, and the other blames the other.
