Vodacom/Finrite Insurance Cancellation is a nightmare

I have been trying to cancel cellphone insurance for the longest time with Vodacom/Finrite. I initially started phoning them in January only to never get through and always being put on hold. Eventually I finally got through and I was told that I need to email the insurance department concerning the cancellation. I did this on the 05 February 2019. After nearly two weeks of not hearing anything I sent another email. Vodacom's 'corporate' department finally sent me an email with the form attached that I need to fill out in order to cancel the insurance. I immediately sent the completed letter in to the same address. I haven't heard anything yet and Vodacom has still been debiting from my account for the past few months. The only communication I have had from Vodacom is via their Twitter account and every time I got told that the matter has been escalated. It is the 10th of May now and still nothing has been done. I try all the time to get to talk to someone on the ********** number but I just end up waiting and the call never gets answered. I have forwarded and resent my email on numerous occasions but still no change. When will this issue get resolved? Why have customer care lines if you cant get through to them? I definitely feel that I need to refunded for the insurance money for the past few months since I have been waiting from their side for it to be cancelled and I cancelled it months ago. I have wasted so much airtime and time on trying to get this insurance cancelled!
