Vodacome Fibre "installation" and delivery that takes a month.
I recently ordered a fibre router uncapped fibre deal from Vodacom on the 21st of July 2022. The following week I get a notification from Ram couriers that clearly stipulated that my address was incorrect. I then called Vodacom who made it clear I had provided my address accordingly and that the agent mad an error communicating with the courier company. I get told it'll be rectified and I'll receive my parcel in 24/ 48 hours, this was on a the 27th of July 2022. I write this review on the 1st of August still waiting to be assisted. Each time I call I deal with a different person who views the notes apologizes and gives me thier word its being "escalated " which essentially does mean anything to me cause it doesn't assist me at all with my issue at hand. Open serve then sends people to install fibre this morning, even without the router being delivered. They tell me they've installed routers in the same complex, an hour and half later they still haven't had luck on the installation or even have began anything for that matter. You'd think such a large company would be a little more professional and try rectify thier errors with actions and a little more than ",I'm sorry it's being escelated'. They should advertise that it takes a month or more to install the fibre rather and manage customers expectations. I mean I live in Sandton not in a difficult destination to reach surely there can be better ways to service people in this day and age!?
