Vodacom4U Clearwater
My wife and I have wasted hours in the Vodacom4u outlet in Clearwater with *********** staff. Firstly when she was due for an upgrade in February, we were promised a certain package by a staff member only to process everything until checkout to pay the admin fee, to then be told that the package was incorrect for the phone given.
Last week then processed the upgrade successfully to when again at checkout the deal was not loaded on the system and would be processed on Monday. All week had time by without the contract form/documentation being sent. Meanwhile in the 7 day period, the Honor band that had come as a bundled deal was faulty and upon returning it to the outlet, unfortunately on the 7th day as we live and work away from this area, to be informed that the entire bundle needs to be sent to the manufacturer to be assessed. Nothing wrong with the handset, but no has to be in its original state and packaging to be sent off for 7 days and then decided if they will fix or replace. The inconvenience of the phone being sent leaves my wife without a phone but not their problem apparently. Discussion with the assistant manager requesting that we return the following day and me stating not a possibility as we have family commitment but asking for a letterhead stating that we have brought the device back within the 7 day period and can return on a different day and the responsibility of the devices will be between the shop and manufacturer lead to a heated discussion because she does not want to give us this letter because she did not want to promise the responsibility.
My wife will NOT be inconvenienced because of a manufacturer issue as this honor band has known issues.
