03 Mar 2021, 08:38So its now a full week since Vodacom unilaterally pulled my email. There has only been promises of action as many as there are days since then. Over the years much of my activities has been based on this email, but this arrogant so-called service provider only cares about itself, so what if its customers are bul****.

03 Mar 2021, 16:51A private reply and they say matter 'resolved' is not acceptable; for me the matter is not resolved. Vodacom's tactics is a typical example of corporate bullying. It was a very unsatisfactory conversation held with Lance from Vodacom at about 13h30 today. There were quite a few anomalies that came up;
Further points will be added as I remember them.
- Lance said that the call was being recorded but refused to grant a copy of the recording (thus further points are given from memory and in no particular order);
- He said that Vodacom has the right to change the terms of conditions, but also said that there is no contract;
- I stated that any transaction is a contract, but he insisted they can change whatever they please with no notice;
- There were changes, the main ones which affected me was a) the period of inactivity was changed from 6 to 4 months and b) they could suspend then recycle at the same time with no opportunity to retrieve the number.
- He refused to grant me further recourse to management higher up the chain of command.
- He said that I forfeited the money that I had placed in the account to be able to ensure activity on the account.
Further points will be added as I remember them.
