VODACOM YOUR SERVICE REMAINS BEYOND PATHETIC

I have posted a complaint about an upgrade and the poor customer service from Vodacom’s online facility a few weeks ago. I eventually went to the Vodashop in the Whalecoast Mall on 26 November 2018 to upgrade to a Hauwei Mate 20 Pro with the R3700 worth of vouchers going with it. I had been told by the staff of the local Vodashop that I am also entitled to the R3700 on numerous occasions. This is where the nightmare started. It was (according to them) as simple as uploading a request for the vouchers and I will receive the SMS from Hauwei within 48 hours. I was the only customer that haven't received the SMS from Hauwei according to them! I was eventually given a number to call on Tuesday with the promise that they will sort me out. I did call and spoke to Nkosi who promised to pass it on to his teamleader. I got an email this morning offering me Vodacom Summer vouchers that is of no use to me. I was later told that the Hauwei vouchers only applies to online upgrading. It is almost a month since upgrading and I’m back where I started. I called the Vodashop for the last timethis morning and the consultant promised to ask the manager to call me back - it is now16:20 and still no call. I can’t put my frustration in words. Vodacom your service is really, really bad. Have you noticed that you have received more than 30 complaints on Hellopeter today 20 December2018? It don’t seem to bother you? Don’t you feel bad about your pathetic service countrywide? Isn’t there supervisors or managers to whom service to customers matters? How can you run a business this way? I have given up on you Vodacom. You are honestly pathetic and your customer service is non-existing. According to you the customer is always wrong, it seems. There is no way that I can recommend you to anybody. I rest my case. Johan Augustyn ********** 081

Thanks to the call from Vodacom early on the morning of 21 December 2018. The caller promised to escalate the issue to someone higher in Vodacom . I appreciate the call ...at least are there people that postings. I was on my way to Gauteng and was already in the plane when Vodashop Herm**** called me around 11:30 on Friday 21st December but I could not take their call. As said in my initial post on Hellopeter, Vodacom and Hauwei can keep their vouchers ...it is about the principle and not about the vouchers. If the Vodashop in Whalecoast Mall really want to contact me they can send me an email at ********** I have no desire to go their once more or to call them for the nth time. Johan Augustyn
