Vodacom, your incompetence exceeds all imagination!!!!
Vodacom, your incompetence exceeds all imagination!!!!
I did an upgrade for my two contracts in June for July 2018. Since 01/07/2018 I suddenly could not make any calls, send messages or anything. I realized that whomever did the upgrade, switched my contracts and I requested that it be corrected. We are now at 23/09/2018 and nothing had been corrected. They eventually collected the two devices from me in late August (21 Aug) and I was assured that things will now be sorted out and that they will be responsible for the bills for July to August since they actually broke contract by not providing me with the service they were supposed to. Shortly after the collection, I started using my sim in my previous phone and realized that they disabled my phone - without warning. I can't even phone the vodacom "free-service" numbers. I keep getting messages and calls about my account being in arrears. My account which should have been cancelled already and that vodacom’s responsibility as I was reassured over the phone (oh yes, of which the calls are recorded - I might add!), since they made a mistake and I've not been able to use my phone or tablet since the initial upgrade in July 2018!!!! When I get through to Vodacom, they keep putting me through to other departments, meaning, no-one is taking responsibility. On Friday, 14/09/2018, I logged another query in regard to the 3-month saga, and asked that they just please send me written proof of my contract cancellations and that the amount in arrears is Vodacom's responsibility and not mine. By Friday, 21/09/2018, I had received a call again from Vodacom wanting to know how I’m going to settle my account which is in arrears. I have not had any feedback from the query I logged the previous Friday. After speaking to 6 vodacom consultants, trying yet again to solve this issue, no-one was able to assist me. I therefore emailed the customer care yet again and included the query reference and also requested that they send me written prove that my contracts had been cancelled and that they are responsible for the account so that I can go to a proper service provider and continue with by life. I can't go to another service provider without the above. Here is the response: “Your frustration is clear and understandable. The reference 1- ********** ********** (2nd escalation) that was logged on the 14th of September 2018 was closed with the feedback that your query was sent to Elite Mobile for assistance. This was the feedback on the initial query logged to our Retentions Upgrade department Please contact them and request to speak to a Team Leader and provide the reference provided by us. Elite Mobile can be reached on ********** 195 Operating hours Monday-Friday 08:00-17:30 Saturday 08:00-17:30 Sunday 08:00-17:30 Our Subscriber Collections Department can be reached on ********** for assistance with your arrears. Inconvenience is an understatement!!!!
Seriously, what the hell am I supposed to do to get these people to do their jobs? How many more phone calls and emails????????????????????????????????????? Vodacom broke contract after not supplying me with what we agreed upon and then still try to take money from me even though I was assured my contracts will be cancelled and the amount in arrears will be written off.
3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yes, and for this email, I will probably get another automated response.
