Vodacom - you took my payment, product was in stock - now please fulfill my order.
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding an order I recently placed with Vodacom. Unfortunately, despite making a payment for the order, I have yet to receive the products/services I paid for.
Here are the details of the order and payment:
Order Date: [Tue 18 July] Order Number: [E*** / ***] Payment Date: [18 July 2023] Payment Amount: [R450] Payment Method: [Card]
It is distressing to see a lack of accountability and commitment to fulfilling customers' orders after receiving their payments.
I expect Vodacom, as a reputable company, to prioritize customer satisfaction and promptly address such issues. I request that you investigate this matter urgently.
I am hopeful that you will take immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure that the products/services I ordered are delivered promptly. Furthermore, I seek a confirmation of when I can expect to receive my order.
If my concerns are not addressed promptly, I may have no choice but to escalate this complaint to the relevant consumer protection authorities and seek legal advice to protect my rights as a consumer.
I trust that Vodacom will take this matter seriously and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction by resolving this issue promptly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Taryn Fonseca *** ***
Unfortunately, this is unacceptable. Your website VERY clearly states when products are out of stock, and the items I purchased were VERY clearly in stock when i made my purchase. When an item is out of stock, your website doesnt allow you to add to basket, and allows you to notify when back in stock - so there is absolutely no confusion around there being stock at my time of purchase in this case. Vodacom is trying to cover up their error by claiming no stock, and I, unfortunately am not going to drop this matter, and will now go to the consumer council and seek legal advice.
