06 May 2019, 12:33Dear Customer,
Thank you for making us aware of your complaint.
Please be advised that our attempts to contact you have been unsuccessful. Kindly note that Vodacom Millionaires ended in 2017. Always remain vigilant and please exercise extreme caution especially with safeguarding all forms of your personal information and details. If you suspect any communication sent to you as being **********, such as phishing emails and **** SMS or text messages, do not respond or communicate with the sender in any way.
Another variation of this **** entails you being provided with a contact person's landline or cellphone number in order to claim the prize. After responding, you are asked to provide banking details and to fax this information through to a specified number or to send personal and banking details to a specified email address citing "security reasons" as to why all communications will be done via email.
Exercise extreme caution and always attempt to confirm these claims independently of communications you receive directly with the company.
