Vodacom Wrong Deal Loaded

On 29/09/2018 I phoned Vodacom to have my number converted to a pay-as-you-go number. I spoke to Brian who offered me a better deal of 200 minutes airtime and 2.65 gigs of data for R399 per month and a new Samsung A6+. I gave Brian the go-ahead for the deal and he took all my information. The system went offline and he told me that he would phone me back to confirm the delivery of the new phone. He said that it would take 3-5 working days for the delivery . He never phoned back.

On Friday 05/10/2018 I phoned Vodacom again, asking to speak to Brian. I eventually got hold of him and he apologized for not phoning back. When I asked him about the delivery, he told me that the deal was now 165 minutes airtime and 2.65 gigs of data. I told him that it was not the deal I accepted and he said that he would get back to me.

Yesterday 10/10/2018 I chatted with another Vodacom employee who sent me the quote they loaded onto the system for me. It was still the 165 minute deal, which was the wrong one. It has now been almost 2 weeks of me trying to get it sorted. Yesterday I was told that Brian would call me back, but he did not. Today when I phoned, they told me he was on a call and then suddenly he was not in at work. It seems to be the way Vodacom does business, promising people deals and then turning around and forcing them to accept deals that they did not accept. As soon as I ask for the recording of the conversation, they go silent and tell me that someone will phone me back.

I now want to still have my number converted to a pay-as-you-go, but nobody at Vodacom seems to be able to assist me with having the wrong deal removed from my name and my contract cancelled.

Morning, someone from Vodacom just contacted me again and asked if they could arrange for the phone to be picked up. THE PHONE WAS NEVER DELIVERED OR SIGNED FOR! Can Vodacom please put one person on this case and get it sorted out. This has now been dragging on for almost three weeks.

The feedback I'm receiving is to call the sales team. I have spoken to a least 10 people and nobody can help. I AM NOT GOING TO BE CALLING AFTER VODACOM ANYMORE. THIS CONTRACT CAN BE CANCELLED AND THE NUMBER CONVERTED TO A PAY-AS-YOU-GO!!!!!!!!!!!
