Vodacom WORST SERVICE mall@mfula
For the last 2 days I’ve experienced the worst service ever. I know Vodacom is slow with everything especially when it comes to the employees in the Vodacom shop but this was just the cherry on the cake! My phone got ****** on Friday the 25th of May . As soon as I realised my phone was ****** I phoned the customer care line the lady was kind of helpful but sounded like she was sleeping she was yawning while we busy talking on the phone but anyway she did what she was supposed to do and could carry on with her nap. I was told by the “ yawning lady” that I will only be able to call the Vodacom Insurance apartment on Monday because there will be a delay on the blacklisting because of the weekend “ whatever that means” so Monday morning I phone the claim department and a lady with the name Zandile helped me with everything I must say I was impressed and had new hope for Vodacom maybe I just over reacted or was too sensitive on Friday because of all the drama… I got the claim number from Zandile and she said I can go to my nearest branch to get a phone for the same value of my old phone that I was insured for. So off I went to our only Vodacom Shop here in Piet Retief at our lovely ********** I’ll have to do this in steps there is just no other way to explain this better
1. There was 6 ladies that worked in the store 2. There was only 3 customers ( and that includes me) 3. The lady who eventually helped me could barely speak or understand English ( that was a mission) 4. When I explained to her what was going on and what happened and gave her the claim number she looked at me like I was talking Chinese 5. Then she said ok she will find out whats going on…. Abd what does she do??? She walks out of the Vodocam shop to Sterns talks there for a while goes to shoprite comes back with a coke and in the office she went 6. After 1hour she came out and said I can get a phone so she gave me the list of phones and whatever I chose she will so to low or too high for your claim so I asked her… ok, so give me the amount that the phone should be mmmmmmmm….oh I don’t know she rep**** 7. So I said whatever Iphone 7 or Samsung S8 8. So she says eish there is going to be a payment due from your side… I said its fine I just please want a phone 9. She walks to the back and comes back after a few minutes and says eish sorry no stock for any phone I’ll have to order so I just stayed calm and said its fine when will the order be here? And she said this coming Friday the 1st of June 10. This morning I phoned the Vodacom shop just to make sure she understood what happened yesterday and that she ordered the phone…. 11. First she didn’t know what I was talking about but anyway eventually she remembered and this is what she says to me “ sorry we only order on every 1st of every month your phone will only be here in 2 weeks” so I asked can I at least just get n sim swap so that I have my number I use it for work and it’s kind of urgent!!! So she says nope sorry can’t help you with that either….
MORAL OF THE STORY Why get Insurance from Vodacom if the service is up to… you know what Why pay R1000 for a contract for the last 6 years and get the worst service you can imagine??? Anyhow… I hope this complaint gets seen by the correct individual and maybe but only maybe then they can improve Vodacom customer service because at this point seems like you can just drop out of school and go work for Vodacom you don’t need any experience no communication s****s I don’t even think you have to be able to read or write you can just sit there looking pretty and get paid every month… if I knew this 15 years ago I would’ve quit school and went straight to Vodacom and started my career there damn you even get a cute shirt to wear everyday
