Vodacom - Worst Service
In last year due to the pandemic I had lost my job, I then proceeded to contact Vodacom whom I have a contract with and explained my situation to them and not one person got back to me after email upon email and then eventually In August my calls were barred and then I received an email from Vodacom's lawyers (HP Attorneys) to inform me that the matter has escalated due to non payment, not forgetting after many emails to vodacom and calling and been told to do this and that which I did. Then after some period the lawyers contacted me again and they sent me an email proposing I pay a 15% discount, at this time I was still not working and I made a plan and asked family for help to pay the discounted rate as I did not want to be blacklisted. On the 26 November 2020 I paid this I sent my proof of payment to HP Lawyers, and at this point after I PAID I called Vodacom's call center to cancel the contract and I am told I cannot cancel as my contract had been extended for another 3 months and I can only do that in February (I never asked for this as I am not working I cant afford it which is why I took the offer the lawyer gave me VODACOM!!! and I wanted to cancel on the advi*****t of your call center staff), then low and behold on the 15 February 2021 I received a letter of demand for the exact same amount that I had paid already so I call the call center and explain the situation to them and they tell me they cannot see that I paid as they can't see the payment on their end...I have my freaking proof of payment and I did pay Vodacom. So to end off please be careful of Vodacom they implement their own things and are not helpful to their customers!!!! I am not paying anything extra as far as I am concerned my contract with Vodacom is done I paid the agreed amount from YOUR lawyers!!!
