Vodacom - Worst experiance I've EVER experianced.

I actually can not believe that you are still in business Vodacom. This is literally the worst experience I've received in my life, I actually have not even heard of anyone experiancing such a bad service as you've provided me.

I'm in the IT Service industry myself, and customer service is key, communication is key. But when it comes to you, you just dont care.

The way I see it, the orginazation Vodacom does not take any FTTH calls, your contractors perform all the services and you just collect the money. However, when I phone through, less than 2 seconds I'm speaking with a Human, but that Human is unable to help me because they can only log a ticket. When your contractors came through to install the service at my property, it was done within 2 hours, brilliant, when it comes through to Vodacom to configure the service, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! I'm quite sure that I was the first person in my area which app**** for FTTH and I still dont have it. My service was installed at my property on the 22nd of September 2020, today is the 25th of October 2020 and I still dont have ANY internet service.

I've been on the phone with the FTTH Team (Because if you phone Vodacom themself they advise they can not help me) 3 - 6 times a day for a month and no one can assit me. This is the best part, your network is so bad Vodacom, I can not be on a phone call longer than 15 min and the call drops. If you can not fix that, how do you think you are able to run the entire South Africa with different services. Because of this, it actually feels like I'm starting to feel pain in my chest (never experianced this before) of how angry you make me.

Alright, let's start from the beginning, on the 22nd of September 2020 my Fibre was installed. Your contractors mentioned that within 48 hours my FTTH will be active. As it stand now, I have (only you will &^*#*%g know how this works) three SO numbers on my name from the one application I've completed, with 100's of SR numbers phoning every day to have FTTH at my home, and still no service. I was so despirate when I saw you contractor in the street, I've mentioned to him go please come and fix my issue, he replaced the router and still no service. Every day I phone, you still dont have the new router on your system. I've logged a request to cancel your horrific service, then only you phoned to mention I must pay the installation fee and the pennalty fee for breaking the contract. I dont understand how you can expect me to pay ANYTHING if I have not receiving any service. All you have done is cost me stress and electircity powering your EXTREMELY WEAK WiFi Nokia router (this device is really a joke).

I've send the following E-Mail with not a single response from Vodacom: SR***.

Your stuff is on the pavement.

The FTTH team is outstanding, however, they can not do a single thing, only log a ticket which Vodacom refuses to do.) for three weeks and have not received single feedback of any sort back from Vodacom, besides Musa from the FTTH team. I'm done phoning, I'm done waiting. >>> >>> COB on the 13th of October 2020 is your deadline Vodacom!

End of E-Mail Chain.

Please note that your stuff is not on the pavement, I've only mentioned this because I want a reponse from you. But why would you care costing your the company you work for money.

I've spoken yesterday with my next door neighbor and they've also advised that they've been fighthing with Vodacom for two weeks and needed to post on Hellopeter. After posting on Hellopeter, not even 24 hours later, their service is active again.

@Vodacom Management, do you even know that your staff is so careless? That they only respond on threats and not actually doing their job?

My SO numbers are as follow: SO***, SO***, SO***.

I dont know what more to say than, just do you job, configure my service and give me the FTTH that I've app**** for.

You can be glad that you are the only provider in the area because I can guarentee that no one will apply for your services if there was another provider.

Marvin from Vocacom Hellopeter departmet phoned and mentioned that they will assist me with my issue.
24 hours later, another lady phoned and mentioned that Vodacom needs to send a technician to my property to investigate the issue. At the time, no one was at the property and I've advised if you can please be there at 15h00. She mentioned it's no problem, they are in the area until 17h00, they will definetly come past. Obviosly they did not come past. However, I've received the below E-Mail from Vodacom:

The internet is still not working.

Let's see if I can help you do your job Vodacom, clearly you have no idea how this works.

On my router, in the WAN Setup section, is a guest vodacom account setup for PPPOE authentication. Please will you remove the guest account from the router and enter the correct PPPOE account in the router and apply the setting.

I believe this is all which is required to be done, but as stated before, Vodacom's staff refuses to work.

I honestly believe that you just close tickets to keep a good KPI.

I can gaurentee you that not a single employee will last a week at my work, you will lose your job in a heart beat because of your back service.

Anyhow, please complete the setup of the router and confirm with me once it is completed.

I really hope you have someone at your office which is able to enter a username and password.
