Vodacom wont take responsability for faulty device
I posted on hellopeter about this last week and all Vodacom did was passing the buck.
I got contacted by vodacom to upgrade my contract and within 24hrs a Samsung S6 was delivered to me, but the unit is faulty. I have been trying to get Vodacom to take it back and all Im told when I manage to speak to human beings is that although I was contacted by someone who said they were from Vodacom, calling with a Vodacom number and having access to all my details from Vodacom, it was a 3rd party so really Vodacom cant/wont do anything about it. Im taking this to the ombudsman if I have not heard from Vodacom today.
This is unacceptable. I never consented for my information to be shared with any 3rd party in the first place. I was mislead into thinking I was dealing with Vodacom with their complicity , and now they wont take responsibility. Im extremely unhappy
