Vodacom will not take phone in for repairs

<p>This was my second visit to the Vodacom branch in Eikestad Mall Stellenbosch. When you have trouble with your contract phone which is now out of warranty they simply tell you they cannot take it in or send it away for repairs. The nearest repair dealer is 20km from them. Please take your phone to Somerset west. NO customer service to assist and help you resolve the problem. What if i was a 80 year old pensioner struggling to walk or drive? Sorry we cannot help you? I tell them my phone is not charging. The consultant plugs in the charger and tells me sorry you need a new charger. I look at him and say really?????...for the whole weekend away after trying 7 different chargers you give me that answer? So i sit down and say ok...let's have a coffee and see how long the phone takes to charge?? no apology or nothing. Sorry your phone is out the 2 years..gives it back and tell me take it to the repair shop.</p>
