Vodacom will never honor their agreement

Beware of vadacom insurance, they will take your money and not honor their agreement. As I do have a solid complaint, I will take this further, but in the meantime I just want to warn other users.

It started during the first hard lockdown, I have 7 contracts with vodacom. 2 of them are 2nd or 3rd biggest contracts they offer. On both of them I asked for full comp insurance. During the first lockdown my one phone broke, all shops are closed, so I put the phone in the safe and start using my old phone. Still paying the insurance, but forgot to take the phone in when lockdown opened up. Discovered the phone some time later and took it in. The response "sorry your claim was denied, as you broke your policy agreement, your sim wasn't in your phone" that didn't stop them from taking their monthly premium, and I'm still paying it, but it does actually stipulate that in the fine print, so I am in the wrong, and seeing that that contract comes to an end this month, I decided to leave it at that.

But my other contract, I followed it to the letter. Samsung s20 ultra, had an accident, and it's 'BER' now they want to replace it to the vallue of R20k and not to the specs. Even tho my policy states R0 - R50 0000... The s20 ultra is discontinued, so the want to replace with a mid level s21 or s21+.. Unacceptable!!!!
