Vodacom will fix your device, but will damage the rest of it in the process

I have a tablet pc under contract with Vodacom. I handed the unit in at Vodacare at Westgate Mall, Roodepoort under a warranty call due to the sound no longer working on the device. The device is not even 3 months old.

I handed the unit in with the original packaging it came with and in pristine condition. on 23/01/2018. I did not receive a Job Number and was told I would receive an sms, which never happened. I have actually to date not received any calls or sms' from Vodacare Westgate. So it was up to me to follow up with weekly visits to see if the device has been repaired.

Finally after more than a month I got the unit back on 26/02/2018. The sound issue was repaired but the device was very poorly handled resulting in many scratches and damages to the keyboard. I can not for the life of me understand how a company which purpose it is to work with mobile devices cannot handle them in the same manner as the owners of the device would.

Now I am sitting with a damaged device and have not recourse against it, I need the keyboard to be replaced. No one seems to care about this.
