Vodacom - where the customer service does not exists and the teams work in silos

been a loyal customer for over 21 years and not a single month have i defaulted on my account.i have been battling with my account since May 2021 and to date nobody has taken ownership and solved my query, i tried calling the call centre now and my number was blocked due to high number of calls from my number. i have been patient and every time i speak to a person i am promised a call back but nobody follows up and even asked for my contract to be cancelled and then they called me back and then too the order is messed up. i am at my wits end with Vodacom. i have filled their surveys, followed all the channels thay they requested me to follow and responding to their sms to say i am not taking the contract only to fine out that they have ugraded my contract. they never give you a contact number but you are constantly promised that they will call back. my contract has been downgraded and now when i called customer care my number was blocked . i was told to call *** to have my number unblocked @R2.40 a min and whilst on the call the call cuts with sms coming through saying i have exceeded my balance. how is it possible? Because this is vodacom customer care. i had an unlimited package and now they down grading me. Customer service is non exsistent. To solve the problem they can just go back and listen to the recording and i have requested that just now and guess what the call cuts and no one returns the call which means i have to go threw the same process again. I will be surprised to get a call back or to have my problem solved. 4 months and counting. well done vodacom. this is how loyalty gets rewarded.
