Vodacom.. What more do I need to do??

My Ex-Account: I **********

In March of this year I prematurely settled 4 Vodacom contracts, as I was leaving the country and needed to tie up all lose ends before leaving, or so I thought... Vodacom Contract Cancellation Dept acknowledged receipt of these signed cancellation documents that I had sent them via email, when I phoned them and then left this in their ‘capable’ hands..

Unfortunately Vodacom proceeded to cancel and terminate only 1 of the 4 contracts. The other 3 had a credit balance posted to them, which I only discovered when I unexpectedly received a bill via email the following month - April 16..

I immediately started emailing your Customer Care dept to query and explain the error made by Vodacom.. Now 6 months later, after numerous emails of complaint, which has been escalated to who knows where so many times, the credit balance has now whittled down to zero, and my SA bank account is now being debited for these contract fees!! These contracts still have not been terminated!!!

Despite my numerous email complaints, me providing over and over again, my March 16 Proof of Payment , together with the signed cancellation instructions, emailing the ‘March proof of email’ to your Contract Cancellations, numerous Vodacom Managers getting involved, and a very good friend in SA getting involved face-to-face with your Vodacom agents – this STILL HAS NOT BEEN cancelled and is being completely ignored!!!!

I have been a Vodacom client for the last 20 years, and never in all this time, have I ever experienced such disgusting client service!! What is it going to take to get someone at Vodacom to actually do their job? To cancel these contracts as originally instructed, and refund me the funds now being deducted from my SA bank account?

Why should I incur legal expenses from overseas, and work through a lawyer, just to prove my innocence to Vodacom? Also, please take note of this – THERE WILL BE SERIOUS CONSEQUENSES SHOULD VODACOM EVER LIST MY NAME WITH THE CREDIT BUREAU FOR ‘SO CALLED’ UNPAID FEES!!!! (I have worked incredibly hard to keep my credit record clean)

What is it going to take to get this resolved???? It’s been 6 months of emails and phone calls.. this cannot be allowed to go on... Why am I being ignored???

If anyone from Vodacom is serious about Client Service and Client Satisfaction, and resolving this issue, I would appreciate them contacting me at **********
